@jonstewart Hero was my 12 year old lab that took obedience school twice, never missed a road trip with me, always happy and would snuggle when you felt sick or bad. 75lbs lap dog. He was the best. Miss him every day. Hang in there Dipper is up there with Hero.
@RevRevvinEv Moved out after Katrina and haven't looked back. Love the city. It's always home and have family and friends still there. Change is hard, but it's good for the soul. There are many that stay forever and that's is what makes it special, but not for everyone.
Joke of the night by Tiernan:
T: Dad, can you name every woman?
Me: Every woman?
T: Yes, every woman.
Me: Not really.
T: Whitney Houston...(Starts singing) I'm every women. It's all in me.
Me: I have nothing
@nurijanian Take some time to orient them to what your primary goals are and ask if they have shifted? Ask questions about what a shift like this means for the roadmap and the future of the product. Lastly, take a deep breadth and find a healthy outlet for your stress.
@carlvellotti I use a metaphor to explain, ie getting the latest version or model of something they want. For example, my mom got a new dishwasher. I asked her how she picked it out? She listed features and reviews. A product manager is someone who prioritizes what features to add and test.
@johncutlefish Prioritization frameworks are there to help you break down a better understanding of problems. Since many frameworks have an element of guessing ie effort. They are not meant to be definitive, but an inclusive discussion around what to prioritize.
