Taking into account how God behaves in most of the OT and Revelations it feels less like “loving and all powerful” and more like “might is right”
@sox_burner@jgp94@BethMooreLPM My personal bible is ESV and has thigh rot as well, so I see where you’re coming from there. NASB says something similar so I think it’s mostly the texts that are popular in modern reformed culture that omit the miscarriage.
@sox_burner@jgp94@BethMooreLPM I’m not necessarily going after what the law says, but what the Bible says God does. In numbers, God lays down a law that says a woman will take a test that can cause a miscarriage. The prophets tell of a curse God will bring down that causes the death of children.
