@EricPhDing I was today years old when I learned that people:
1) Didn't historically ever go to the doctor when they had a cold
2) Haven't been repeatedly told for 3+ years that if they have cold symptoms they're probably dying and must go the doctor even if they're feeling ok.

Fascinating. I'd be shocked if this cross-reactivity manifests in meaningfully lower susceptibility to infection (after all, infection of OG COVID gave only some protection against Omicron infection), but every little bit helps when it comes to severe effects.
