I think it’s fine to add the operator skins from previous titles into the next iteration of Warzone, but I do think it’s a bit ridiculous to bring back legacy weapons just for them to not be customizable. In my honest opinion I seriously think a full reset would’ve been the smartest move especially in a time where most people are already fatigued from this era. I also think bringing back a version of sbmm to Black Ops 7 and MW4 was a massively wrong decision which will and has caused people to fall out from this franchise. I think BO7’s matchmaking was actually really good throughout most of the year and I hate that it’s been thrown out. I’ve grew up with Call of Duty. I want to see this franchise stay on top. This is the shooter I love. I just want you guys to make meaningful changes that are community driven, not data driven. All these decisions are hurting you guys in the long run especially when a massive game like GTA6 is right around the corner. I hope that this franchise will get back on the right path eventually and have the quality and passion that it once had behind it, but for years we as a community have been burned and lied to by the franchise we love.
I hope this reaches the right people and I hope you see this Activision. We are all you have and what are you without us? If data is so important then you’d see the people leaving in droves and the massive YouTubers who’ve fallen off because of COD’s growing irrelevancy. This era of COD needs to end soon. Give us something that will make the world love Call of Duty again. I really want to be proud of being a COD fan again. I’m tired of people seeing it as something to laugh at. At one point in time this game was something to be excited for. You have the money and the power to make quality games. This isn’t COVID anymore and you don’t need timelines or crunches. Even if we need a year 2 for a game. Give us something we can be proud of as a community.
