This is a very exciting change coming for General Aviation increasing the LSA weight limit!

Great news out of @AOPA Fly-in at Carbondale. In January the FAA will issue a notice of proposed rulemaking increasing max weight for a light sport airplane from 1320 lbs to 3600 lbs. And ADS-B rebate will be back again in a few days. More to come.

@Av8rdan @derekwthomas @InThePattern @liveatc Yep, but Monday morning lots of pilots heard that from ATC & thought it meant “go circle green lake and you’ll get in soon.” 2 hours later those guys were pissed that they still hadn’t made it in. Meanwhile I landed, had breakfast, and made it in no problem once it calmed down.
