@mosswa @ncte I used songs to show simile and metaphor examples - basically any figurative language. I also had students use garage band to decipher Shakespeare’s iambic pentameter. I know you asked for other than poetry, but using garage band to discover the rhythm to a work is priceless.

@DrBradJohnson Add to that, a stellar teacher needs to be included in teamwork - has to have a team that values the gifts without jealousy. Isolation comes from rejection and undervaluing the individual. When all feel supported and valued, you get the stellar TEAM.
