It's strange that anime has become mainstream faster than video games.
I mean in the sense that there's people who have no idea there's short, powerful video games out there that'll completely change your life trajectory, for the better.
Mind you - games as a concept are older than written word in human civilization.
Of course there's predatory games / evil monetization schemes / people playing as an escape for life and not as an experience...
But look beyond those and you'll experiences out there that really are worth your time.
To put it another way if Dostoevsky was alive today he'd be a YouTuber with a strong following making video essays about his favorite games.
What got me thinking about this is that I don't watch many movies, shows, etc - I don't want to become a monk!
But I also want to be really diligent with my time too.
