This luminary, and illustrious citizen @bbmhlanga is just a journalist not a criminal. Professional journalism must not be victimized In a New Great Zimbabwe, none will be in jail on account of executing their professional duty and journalistic work. Much love to this CITIZEN HERO!
🔸I’ve had the privilege of working directly with President @nelsonchamisa. One of the mantras I learnt from him is that the room for improvement can never be filled. In this vein, I always say - constructive criticism is good. Thinly veiled smear campaigns, a dirty agenda and disinformation are bad.
President Chamisa’s ability to navigate complicated terrain and still be the sole hope of the masses is why attacks dressed up as imbalanced scholarship or backhanded think pieces continue to proliferate. Its understandable because, as we say in Shona, he who has the ball is the one who gets slide tackled, marked and fouled.
The truth of the matter is that every iteration of President Chamisa’s leadership has been permeated with courage, a will to beat our toxic political system and a hunger to transform Zimbabwe into a jewel that works for everyone. His competence in this regard has been magnified by the failure of those who’ve tried and failed to replace him.
The last few years have demonstrated that leading a movement for change is not a stroll in the park. Very few have the capacity or mettle for it. President Chamisa does. In all ten provinces of Zimbabwe, he has left an imprint, inspiring hope and a thirst for change. This is why I have every bit of confidence that he’s the best foot forward to lead the charge of building a New Zimbabwe.
We fall down twice, we get up three times.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
@advocatemahere@LHNewsZimbabwe@nelsonchamisa In a political landscape where dishonor and outright madness have become the norm, it is baffling that some choose to nitpick at the only leader who has consistently upheld values of integrity, service, and vision. Our standards as a nation have fallen to their lowest.
It was an honor to contribute to this ongoing discussion, and I appreciate the EU Commission for their valuable insights. The evolution of EU Com law, from Borschette’s time to today, continues to be a collaborative effort—one that ensures markets remain fair, open, innovative.
"Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend a Stakeholder Workshop on the draft Article 102 TFEU Guidelines on Exclusionary Abuses at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre—a fitting venue, given Borschette’s lasting impact on EU competition law.
✅ Balancing Innovation & Competition – How rules must protect market competition while ensuring companies maintain incentives to innovate.
✅ Inclusivity in Competition Law – Acknowledging that both large firms and SMEs contribute to shaping a fair and competitive market.
@TreasureBasopo@henryjajim@Julius_S_Malema "It is until a mosquito lands on your testicles, when you learn that violence does not solve all problems" -African proverb. Malema has so much to learn from Mandela and Mugabe. He has potential but unstable as water he will not go far.
@TreasureBasopo@henryjajim@Julius_S_Malema Effects-based approach is ideal. You don't solve a national crisis with emotions. Mugabe played the land to the people card in 2000 without an endgame but to gain votes. Redistribution is primary but approaching it as war will cause instability.
A struggle is never meant to last for this long with its gains. From 1999 to 2008 was such a tough road, thanks to the GNU that gave us a brief relief. It’s even harder post GNU. EFF leadership meltdown is the typical example why a struggle should have gains. We remain unmoved NC
🟣Sending a man to jail in this freezing weather for no reason except that he allowed young people to have a Youth Day braai at his home is crazy business.
The weaponization of the legal system to punish people you do not like is a dangerous new low for this Govt. Sen @JamesonTimba is not a criminal nor are the young people who were peacefully and privately gathering at his home to commemorate the Soweto Uprising. Free them now.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
This gentleman would never hurt a fly. In fact, his weakness is that he is too peaceful and law abiding. A genuinely good man and a patriot. Free him. It’s a duty.
@nelsonchamisa we remain focused on the ball. Unmoved and unbothered by clouds without water. Europe stands with you Mr President @CCC_Europe@germanyCCC.
