Stephen Curry averaged 37ppg in the 2019 WCF vs the blazers (without KD)
…..which is the most points scored in a 4 game sweep in nba history.
Context, if you removed Steph and Dame’s points from the series, the blazers sweep the warriors.
37 pts-8reb-7ast PER GAME
Warriors didn’t want to call timeout because they wanted to keep HOU’s “offensive” lineup out there (aka Sengun). Perfectly fine with that decision. But if you do that, the guy Sengun is guarding (Podziemski) HAS TO set the screen on Thompson instead of drifting toward the corner
Wizards coach Brian Keefe was asked by @JoshuaBRobbins and me why starters Bilal Coulibaly and Bub Carrington didn't play in the 4th quarter of a close game against Golden State, and why Alex Sarr was allowed to foul out in the 3rd.
“Parents deserve clear, evidence-based guidance when making decisions about their children’s health. At a time when unprecedented changes to the federal vaccine schedule threaten decades of scientific progress, the AMA strongly supports @AmerAcadPeds’ childhood and adolescent immunization schedule to keep children safe and healthy.” https://t.co/lieBgm5vkx
"The AMA is deeply concerned by reports of immigration enforcement activity in and around hospitals and emergency rooms – a tactic fueling fear among patients and hospital staff alike. When people are afraid to seek medical attention for themselves or their families, it threatens their health, impedes the ability of physicians to render care, and ultimately undermines basic trust in our health care institutions." Alex Pretti, a registered nurse, was killed in a horrifying shooting at the hands of federal law enforcement. We ask all nurses to visit https://t.co/brSe939K7j to send a letter to your members of Congress. Let them know that nurses demand immediate action.
Carrying an extra magazine implies nothing.
Holsters designed to carry spare magazines are common and widely sold. Training resources and guides across the internet actively recommend it. Thousands of law-abiding Americans do this every day. This is standard, not overkill.
Claiming otherwise sets a dangerous precedent for Second Amendment rights and creates an easy backdoor argument for magazine bans and similar legislation.
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
This is the part they can’t spin.
Alex Pretti wasn’t a “threat.” He was a VA ICU nurse.
A colleague says he stood up for women physicians, checked on people when they were breaking, and literally kept them going.
And now that same VA ICU staff is back at work today… while the Trump regime tries to rewrite his death like a PR memo.
Release the bodycam. End this operation.
Left: Kristi Noem says Alex Pretti is a domestic terrorist
Right: Alex Pretti, a VA ICU Nurse, reading the last rights over a veteran at his hospital
Alex Pretti, "Today we remember that freedom is not free"
"We have to work at it. Nurture it. Protect it. And even sacrifice for it"
"May we never forget and always remember our brothers and sisters who have served, so that w emay enjoy the gift of freedom"
"So in this moment we remember and give thanks to the dedication and selfless service to our nation in the cause of our freedom"
"In this solemn hour, we give them our honour and gratitude"
As a physician, I believe withdrawal from WHO is dangerous & irresponsible. Pathogens don’t respect borders. This makes Americans less safe, weakens global surveillance, & isolates us when cooperation is essential. Public health should never be a unilateral, ideological decision.
If there was ever a moment for libertarians and conservatives to step up and join the rest of us, we’re in it.
Americans have to unite and stop this descent from a freedom-loving nation into the kind of place where masked, militarized government agents are sent to politically noncompliant areas to roam the streets, terrorize civilians, and deploy violence with impunity.
The most striking thing to me is that the the CBP officer pushes a woman onto the ground and the man is trying to protect her from them and help her up when they tackle him and then shoot him. It’s one of the most upsetting things I’ve ever seen happen in America
One of my former research assistants was killed by ICE in Minneapolis today😢
Alex was the kindest, sweetest human and a ICU nurse with a bright future ahead of him
May his soul rest in peace and this senseless carnage stop💔
