It’s been awhile so I thought it would be nice to share an update on where things stand at @breakoutprop almost 3 quarters into life inside @krakenfx.
TL;DR we’ve shipped a lot and are deliberately focused on expanding TAM for prop generally.
Our new terminal went live in March. This was the single biggest product bet in the history of the company. We’re vertically integrated and now own the entire stack front-to-back. This materially changes what we can build into the product and how fast we can ship meaningful new features.
We’ve been purposeful and data-driven with the progressive structural changes we’ve made to the product through the normalization of rulesets across our 1-step plans, elimination of the two-step and a meaningful pull-down in pricing across the board. There's also a new plan type in the final stages of launch that we’re really excited about.
We also launched Kraken Prop this week. It’s the same type of product we've been running at Breakout but it sits inside the @krakenpro product…different customer, different distribution, same engine underneath.
We’ll be launching new asset classes on Breakout in the next month too, and there's more coming on the Kraken Consumer side we're not ready to talk about yet that will appeal to an entirely different user cohort than what we’ve traditionally targeted.
The other piece worth calling out is how aggressively we've leaned into AI across the org at Breakout. It's been a real step change in how fast we ship and how much surface area a small(ish) team can cover. It’s been intentional, not a side experiment, and it's how the company runs now. This allows us to further expand our moat.
Bigger point is prop has become a major focus for Kraken. Not a corner of the business but a deliberate push to expand the TAM of the segment overall. The thesis when we did the deal was that prop belongs inside a serious crypto exchange in a way it doesn't anywhere else and that's playing out faster than i expected. Trader base, financial rails, brand, regulatory posture..the pieces fit together in a way that's hard to replicate from outside.
More soon.

@wizardofsoho Want to wager another $1,000?
If you can hit 305yds carry on a sim/on a launch monitor (with no wind or elevation change/no settings changed), I’ll pay up.
If you can’t, you pay for all my rounds of golf for 2026.
@wizardofsoho Congrats on the $1,000!
And for tricking Mando into giving it to you.
If this drive went 305yds then you’re up there with some tour professionals! Their swings look pretty similar.
I cannot believe how far we’ve come!!!
Such an exciting time.
Cannot be any prouder than I am to be part of the team that could make this possible!
Let’s goooooo!!

Are you ready to scale your trading strategy?
I'm glad I stumbled across your post, I'm the Director of Customer Service at Breakout.
While I understand you ran into an issue when requesting your payout, this did not prevent the payout from being approved in the 12-24 hour timeline that we provide.
While waiting for resolution you decided to go to X and post defaming statements related to "my payout is being delayed", which is demonstrably untrue. You also stated to our CS team that your payout was being denied, also untrue.
In both instances where you had an issue we were swift to resolve it, even during the weekend.
Yes, you were banned for life, as you blamed Breakout for revenge trading three accounts which you ultimately breached.
We aren't against free speech, but we won't allow for people to disrespect or be rude to our customer service team without consequences. I personally oversee these choices and I stand by our decision to ban you from our platform.
@Tradermayne Carded a 77 today with 3 birdies, two doubles, rest were pars/bogeys.
I’ve dialed my driver in these past 2-3 weeks.
I’ve also been practicing short wedge shots from 25yds, 35yds, 45yds up to 75yds.
This has by far been one of the biggest helpers.
This game is so addicting.
@Tradermayne I’m absolutely down. Maybe 2026 I can schedule a trip up to Vancouver, because those courses look amazing.
Glad to see you’re still grinding though. This is easily the most addictive sport there is.
