Coloradans deserve producer-funded packaging recycling. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of having to put double layers of single-use plastic in the trash. @GovofCO please sign HB 1355!
LIVE NOW: @POTUS promised to crack down on oil drilling — so why in the world are oil & gas permits up under Biden?
We have a video on loop at the White House demanding this administration keep its promise.
Our climate simply can’t afford more drilling.
The climate crisis isn't your fault. Please remember that.
Also remember that you, as an inhabitant of this planet, have the responsibility to preserve this place for future generations. We all have that responsibility.
Become a climate activist.
My mother heart aches for the wolf mothers whose pups were slaughtered in their dens. Wolves are a vital part of our ecosystems, and are only responsible for a small fraction of livestock losses. We have to stop the frenzy of violence against these beings.

This isn’t a new trick. It’s not particularly clever. It’s just sad that a state like Colorado can’t get its act together in 2021 to stop these guys. We already have 17,000 zombie wells. I just hope no one else dies.

For years the oil industry has profited by selling off old, used up wells to smaller companies who can’t afford to clean them up. The big companies are then off the hook for those costs - they get one last payday, and walk away. 1/
Whiting Petroleum’s “sale” of almost 350 used up wells to a newly formed company with no assets, and only about $400k in bonds, is probably going to cost this state somewhere between 30 and 60 million dollars and result in enormous amounts of pollution and danger. 7/
