Otter caught on our camera trap on one of our sites recently. We carry out quite a few otter surveys, but we rarely see them as we are usually out in the day looking for signs. @gloswildlife#otters
Some hedgehogs can be seen out in the day in the summer like one of our ecologist's resident hedgehog who we think has hoglets or is pregnant. If you are worried about a hedgehog please contact your local rescue.
Nice bat roost features on this ash, ready for a dawn survey this week. We are currently in bat survey season, this runs until end of September so good to get the requests in now.
@arnoldmark13@Britnatureguide There was quite a bit of debris in the nest, though could have been from recent storms, however it appeared to be last year's.
@gloswildlife consultancy @wild_service has a new opening for a seasonal graduate ecologist, if you want to join a fun little team, please see link. https://t.co/eGHxUWYmkH
