People have asked what makes Entropy different. A set of principles we call 'The Artist Compact' speaks to that thought process. I want to spend more time talking about the whole document but this is our thought on design UX heritage and the role that a toolmaker has in creation.
Everyone who signed up for the beta list should now have a testing license. If for some reason you don't see an email from us in your inbox (and you signed up, which is always helpful), check your spam filters. Excited to see what people create.
We'll be closing the Entropy open beta signup tonight at midnight CDT. If you'd like to be a part of it, sign up at https://t.co/vDBGG3uJhH We're prepping today to send beta licenses out.
Today's pretty clip is flying through a sine-wave formula emitter.
There are a lot of new plugins flying around at the moment, but if I was going to back any horse it would be the one steered by the OG After Effects hero @graymachine
This looks awesome.
A lot of people don't know this but Harry Frank, who is partnering up with Brian to make this, was responsible for a lot of the cool stuff in Trapcode Particular - but when it came to speed we were always limited by Trapocode's older architecture. This is next gen. Congratulations guys.

@soleio https://t.co/WskW5d9RRV my cofounder Harry and I have dove headfirst into building as artists. We announced our new particle system today. Moving towards building has been so gratifying and design informs all of it. Anyway, I agree.
Particles are supposed to be the fun part.
Today we're revealing Entropy, a modern particle instrument for After Effects built for fast feedback, directable motion, and work you can keep changing.
Public beta opens the week of August 24.
