Nearing the end of the first day of #MockupJam, and we have a game premise we're thrilled to move forward with! The mechanics, theme, and story all interact in an incredibly satisfying way, and we can easily imagine this expanding into something larger... We'll see!

@unitygames I was fascinated by the unique opportunities games offer for storytelling. I played a lot of games as a kid, but I wasn't interested in game dev until I started playing story-driven indie games. There are just so many cool things you can do with mechanics to drive a story home!

Both our founders are from Appalachia, and that influences our storytelling! Little game teaser – Our upcoming game will explore the stories of queer people in that region.
