What needs explained.. 25% tariff doesn't necessarily mean 25% extra to consumer. Also US companies are in Ireland, not exclusively, but partially.. because of low corporation tax. The other end of the equation which people are forgetting, it the huge collector of tax this will be for the worlds largest economy, maybe 100's of billions of $ annually.. which can be used to offset debt, or reduce federal tax rate, thereby giving money back to the people. These decisions are being made now, and the benefit, while not immediate, will given time to work through to consumers before next elections.

I'm in process of getting our local Council Environmental Health, their Services Team, and a locally elected Councillor to a meeting next week.. to understand where the breakdown is.
