This is the problem of one-sided stories. I think most of us Christians are not being fair to our fellow brothers and sisters in the Muslim communities who have suffered the same fate in the hands of bandits and terrorists in this country, and I must say we have been very wicked towards them.

Look at Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, and Niger States. Thousands of Muslim villagers have been massacred in the past decade by the same bandits people like you now describe as only killing Christians. Do you know how many Muslims have been burnt inside mosques during prayers?

Do you know how many Muslims have been kidnapped from schools, markets, and highways in the North? Families have been wiped out, women raped, and children sold into slavery. Are those people not human beings too?

Go to Borno and Yobe; Muslims have been the biggest victims of Boko Haram. For yrs, their mosques were bombed, their communities displaced, and their Imams murdered. Are you blind to their suffering because it doesn’t fit your selective narrative?

Even in Kaduna, both Christians and Muslims have been slaughtered in cycles of revenge attacks, but people like you only mention one side to gain sympathy from the West. That is dishonesty, and it is dangerous.

And let’s be truthful: in the Southeast today, the people killing, beheading, and burning their own brothers are not Muslims.

They are Christians killing Christians. Should we then say Christianity is wiping out Christianity? That is how foolish and misleading your argument sounds when you remove Muslims’ pain from the story.

Nigeria’s insecurity is not about religion. It is about banditry, terrorism, bad politics, and crime. Muslims and Christians have been victims.

The problem is that some Christians abroad and even at home only shout when it is Christians being attacked, but when Muslims are killed in even greater numbers, nobody raises a voice. That is wickedness, and it must stop.

So if you want to talk about killings in Nigeria, talk about all victims. Don’t twist it into propaganda against Islam.
