@andrewjscanlon @DrJulieKYoung Hi Andrew. These beavers were captured on private property in Western WA, USA where their tunneling was causing sink holes in a landowners yard. They were relocated to a headwater stream on USFS land to restore salmonid habitat and improve watershed hydrology.

@LucyKnowsNews @lizbonnin Hi Lucy, as @lizbonnin explained, a number of environmental factors prevented us from returning to the site last fall. We are continuing to monitor the site with game cameras and will attempt to capture mom and offspring this Spring and reunite them with their relocated family!
