@thisischaniece In my case definitely the October travel crowds in Kashgar. Managed 3.5 years without COVID but even with 4 vacation shoots I was no match for a overly crowded restaurant 😂

@thisischaniece Got COVID in Kashgar during National Holiday. Super crowded restaurant (no masks), so not really a scientific evidence that cases are rising. Tourists must have brought quite a few cases since people have been coming in large numbers after 1 year of Xinjiang travel restrictions

@SnowLeopardHope @BirdingBeijing @SnowLeopardNet Thanks for the feedback. I had rules canids out because there was not a single claw mark and it also felt very big for a dog. Not aware of large canids in Tianshan near Kuqa that would have such a large paw print

When you go explore the wild landscapes of Xinjiang and you find a big cat paw print (mountain lion, lynx, … ?) and you start questioning your hiking path choices 😂
