@ENDESGA I also don't know what the market is like for you, but here in Melbourne I was able to get my hands on a near new second hand kit for about $400 AUD.
I originally got mine because I moved and cbf setting up the vive, and now it's my main VR headset :)
2/2
@ENDESGA I've used a few, and right now I'd say the Quest 2.
Inside out tracking means no annoying base stations at the cost of slightly less accurate tracking.
Standalone or PCVR via wired or WiFi streaming.
Smaller profile/less weight than Vive with plenty of 3rd party accessories. 1/2
@startrack someone want to explain how in the hell I got this note despite staying home specifically to sign for this package, Amazon driver having no issues delivering 5 minutes after the time on the card, and my doorbell being loud enough to moonlight as a civil defence siren?
@egadheg @WarWraith @kels_316 @imjustcabriisun Also worth noting there are plenty of safety setting that can be used as well, which I'd recommend fiddling with a bit
@WarWraith @kels_316 @egadheg @imjustcabriisun It really depends on the server and the people in it. If it's a private server just for them, it's no different than an always available group call. Younger kids should definitely stay away from public servers though.
