People like Zia Yusuf often say they don’t have a problem with immigrants, providing they integrate and contribute to the UK. Well here’s an asylum seeker who volunteers for local charities, served as a trustee of local schools, became a councillor in her local area and rose to lead that council, and is now seeking to become an MP for her home area - and that’s still not enough integration or contribution. It never will be because whatever she does, her real sin in the eyes of people like Yusuf is simply being from Somalia.

In impoverished countries, I see moms carry their babies for miles to get them vaccinated, because they understand that vaccinations save lives. And in the US I see charlatans diminishing vaccines in ways that will cause kids to die.

Sadly I’m on my 2nd @thameswater issue today- now in Forest Green- they’re refusing to fix a mains water pipe, which was stated in resident’s property searches last year as Thames Water’s responsibly. They are risking contaminating the water supply. I’ll be writing to the CEO….

@HMRCcustomers No dividends but probably a little bit of interest on savings - although nowhere near the estimated amount it says on my account. I'm not really sure how that estimate has been reached or whether it affects my tax? My code is 1257L
