Co-founder @Astryum_ 🌊 XRPL + Flare builder.
UI/UX designer, learning blockchain in public.
🥈 at Flare Summer Signal 2026 — and we're just getting started.
The Astryum team — @Wilja_8 and @eriquituzz — will be at the XRPL Meetup in Barcelona on September 16th.
The event is sponsored by @xrpl_commons, @Peersyst and @bitvavocom, as a side event of the European Blockchain Convention.
We’re looking forward to connecting with users, builders and creators like @itscoachfo.
For the first time, we get to do this without a screen in between. 🤝
See you in Barcelona. ☀️
This is why we don't think “audited” should be the security narrative for DeFi.
An audit can validate code within a defined scope. It doesn't validate the entire financial operation around it.
At Astryum, we're taking a different approach.
Instead of assuming that audited contracts make an operation safe, we're building a control plane around the operation:
Intent → Policy → Simulation → Quorum approval → Signature → Audit trail.
The goal isn't to replace audits.
It's to reduce the amount of trust placed on any single layer — including the audit itself.
The next wave of growth in the ecosystem will come from picking the right networks and combining different primitives to solve real problems and make users lives easier.
We believe the point of blockchain isn’t the asset itself. It’s what each network is designed to solve — and what becomes possible when those capabilities are combined.
Understanding this changes how we look at value.
An asset’s value is ultimately connected to its utility. And when that utility becomes essential, the asset can become a store of value.
Interoperable primitives will drive further utilisation. And as more of them are combined, abstraction becomes inevitable.
Mass adoption requires two things:
Solve a real problem.
Abstract the complexity.
That combination of primitives is exactly what made us choose #FlareNetwork .
As @0xquantic said, Flare can become a financial control plane.
That’s what we were building towards before we even realised Flare could enable it: a single place to control the financial operations that can be performed across blockchain.
DeFi is essentially a set of financial tools that banks have had for decades — tools that normal people never had access to.
That is changing.
Our mission with Astryum is to connect people to this new era of digital finance without requiring them to understand the technology behind it.
The technology should be abstracted.
The utility should remain.

This is surreal
Six weeks ago @agentvault_flr was a rough sketch on a blank piece of paper on my desk. Today it’s a first place finish in a hackathon with over 300 projects
Huge thank you to @FlareDevHub@FlareNetworks for running this and for FCC existing at all, none of this works without it
Congrats to Remnara, Astryum, UMBRA as well
This was only step one, onward ️
Painful but true.
The market validates the idea. It gives it a hug or turns it away.
No matter how good it sounds in your head, validate in the market first. Rejection is feedback, not punishment.
This summer we got our first hug. Time to earn the next one. 🫶
Harsh truth:
Being “hard working” is massively overrated if you are working on things nobody values.
The market does not reward effort.
It rewards leverage, judgment, scarcity and results.
You can work 12 hours a day for 10 years and still lose to someone who chose the right problem.

@0xQuantic Thank you Victor for validating our theroy. That’s what we want to achieve with Flare and the XRPL being the governance layer.
Also we will provide other products with this type of infrastructure for our users.
We didn't quite believe this when we started either.
Back in June we assumed putting XRP to work meant new chains, new wallets and wrapped everything. Then we understood the design. The XRPL says who, Flare says what. That changed everything we built this summer.
Now it's the first thing we explain to anyone who asks. Pass it on 🌊

As we see it, every builder who entered the hackathon wanted to win. But once it was over, those who keep shipping took away something even more valuable: validation, visibility, and a growing presence in the ecosystem.
That’s exactly what we wrote in our BUIDL submission:
"Direction, not dates.
Our objective after this program is a Flare ecosystem grant, and we are building toward that application rather than toward a prize.
We said it plainly because it’s the honest answer to “what happens after August”:
We were going to build this anyway. A grant would change the speed, not the direction."
Summer is coming ☀️

As always, mass adoption comes from abstraction, while the underlying primitives and infrastructure remain untouched.
TCP/IP is a great comparison: we use it at massive scale without thinking about it because it is open, interoperable infrastructure.
Blockchain can follow the same path, but with an entire stack of composable, verifiable primitives.
The real value will come from combining those primitives across different chains to build products that solve real problems while completely abstracting away the complexity.
Users shouldn't care which chain, wallet, bridge or protocol is underneath. They should care about the outcome.
That's when “crypto” stops being the product and simply becomes the infrastructure behind it.
The next crypto wave will come from those who use the tech as an invisible infrastructure.
The stigma around the term “crypto” isn’t going away. For most people, the word is associated with gambling, scams, and hacks. That’s not a foundation for mass adoption.
Successful technologies don't market their plumbing. They just work. You don't think about TCP/IP when browsing the web, or SWIFT when sending money internationally though you curse the fees and delays. Blockchain's path to ubiquity looks the same: abstract away wallets, gas, keys, and chain complexity so that users can focus on the benefits: faster, cheaper, more transparent outcomes without noticing the tech.
Boring wins here. Builders who prioritize seamless UX with actual utility that solves painful problems like remittances, fraud reduction, provability, efficient settlement will drive the next wave.
The tech is largely ready. The cultural and design hurdles are the final boss. If crypto becomes the reliable plumbing everyone uses without thinking about it, that's when real mass adoption will happen.
@Astryum has surged to second place in the #FlareSummerSignal Hackathon!
Proud of ourselves. Builders don't know if they are doing something meaningful until users or ecosystem partners show up!
Thanks to everyone who participated in the hackathon for making it so competitive.
Day 1 after the Summer Signal Hackathon.
We were serious when we said we’d be paying attention to who keeps building.
We want to keep supporting developers who continue shipping, improving, and growing alongside @FlareNetworks.
The hackathon ended yesterday.
Now the real signal starts.
Who keeps shipping when there are no deadlines, prizes, or judges watching?
Those are the builders I’m most interested in supporting.
One summer, one signature 🌊
An idea in June. Eight weeks of building in public. Mainnet. And second place at Flare Summer Signal.
The next chapter is already running — https://t.co/tD6yERyPdl

Second place at Flare Summer Signal ☀️🚀
We walked into this hackathon with a thesis and a lot of questions. We walk out with something live — and more importantly, with people: mentors who asked the hard questions, users who tested and broke things, a community that kept showing up all summer.
Thank you @FlareNetworks@FlareDevHub and everyone who gave us feedback along the way.
And congrats @remnara1 — well deserved — @agentvault_flr and @davre0. Four teams, one promising future.
And to everyone who built so many useful products this summer: keep going, don't stop for any reason. The market needs young, fresh ideas to keep growing — keep it up!
We keep building. See you at Make Waves 🌊

See you on mainnet ☀️
We got second place at Flare Summer Signal with @Astryum_ 🌊
Eric (@eriquituzz) and I started the summer with an idea and zero certainty. Somewhere between the demo weeks and the mainnet nights, it became real.
Grateful, tired, and not stopping. 🚀
The results are in. ☀️
Meet the Flare Summer Signal winners.

Congratulations to all four teams. 🔥
"Understand and act upon" is the half everyone builds on. The other half is what made us build here.
A chain that can prove what happened outside itself can also be told to do nothing unless exactly that happened. Not act — refuse.
Our contract on Flare has one way in, and it stays shut unless FDC proves a specific payment, from a specific account, whose fingerprint matches the order to the byte. Everything else it simply cannot do.
Consensus about the outside world isn't only how a contract knows when to move. It's how it knows when not to.
