The worldโs most famous watch designed for Marie Antoinette by Abraham-Louis Breguet will be on public display for the first time in the UK in our new exhibition Versailles: Science and Splendour.
Commissioned in 1783, this intricately engineered masterpiece took decades to be completed with neither Breguet nor the Queen able to see the finished handcrafted watch.
