God woke me up today and gave me breath. I have a job, I have my health, the people I love are healthy, and even my cars get me where I need to go. The list of blessings goes on. When you set your mind on the good things in your life, that goodness becomes what you notice most.
The same is true for the negatives. When all your attention goes to what’s going wrong, it blinds you to everything that’s going right. That mindset drags you toward feeling unmotivated, depressed, and in the darkest moments, even suicidal. Every one of us could name endless reasons to be upset and just as many reasons to be grateful. I choose to focus on the latter.
@elonmusk The only limitation I see that Grok has that GPT doesn’t is unlimited usage at a low price point. I pay $65.55 for a team subscription and get unlimited usage of GPT-5.
Apart from that, Grok is superior
The ruling was on intellectual disabilities as a whole with sub 70 IQ’s and not specifically DS. We’re on the same page lol. Nonetheless, the initial argument stands that it’s ridiculous to give an infant alcohol just because the embryo was 30 years old. On average, an embryo is 1-15 years old but we’re not out here giving infants driving permits
@Crisispsych@theoscuroone@roseh1pps In which they ruled it unconstitutional stemming from the Atkins v. Virginia case in 2002. So, like I said, the execution didn’t happen.
Texas has executed people with intellectual disabilities but none have had DS. Nonetheless, the grounds for eligibility for execution in the state of Texas has nothing to do with this tweet. Not to mention, intellectual disabilities can vastly differ from one case to another. This is why some are tried as children and some as adults
@theoscuroone@roseh1pps There’s not a single viewpoint that is unanimous across all countries. The United States has a different opinion on when the brain is fully developed than other countries as they do with many other things
@Dandre_Morgan@roseh1pps 1. I said crimes “against” but regardless, yes it depends on the specific DS situation.
2. Embryos are regularly frozen for years. This isn’t new, it’s just a record amount of time.
