Incredible things are happening in Oldham

We spent the day looking on how @OldhamCouncil are transforming the urban centre

Both an unpleasant car-dominated experience, *and* a lack of safe infrastructure at conflict points.

But IMO those aren't the criteria that increase walking modal share.

Unlike cycling (I *can't* cycle, no safe infra exists) walking = (I don't *want* to walk, it's unpleasant)

So, placemaking & less traffic.
