.@AlbertAbonado loves it when poems lead him to unexpected places. He loves poems that are both expansive and personal, and he wants that sensibility present in his writing. #FilipinoHeritageMonth@iexaminer https://t.co/OA4hIIoXDH

Building up the middle class will be a defining goal of my presidency.
This is personal to me. The middle class is where I come from.
My mother kept a strict budget. We lived within our means, yet we wanted for little. And she expected us to make the most of the opportunities that were available to us and to be grateful for them because, as she taught us, opportunity is not available to everyone.
As president, that’s why I will work to create an opportunity economy where everyone has the chance to compete and succeed—whether you live in a rural area, small town, or big city.
Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend @KamalaHarris. We told her we think she’ll make a fantastic President of the United States, and that she has our full support. At this critical moment for our country, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure she wins in November. We hope you’ll join us.
