1/4 I was thrilled to talk w/ @rmc031 about how we're trying to reach male voters on the topic of abortion for this piece. Special shoutout to everyone @ClarifyAgency who helped put this strategy and creative together, especially @RebGerber. https://t.co/9b0TivSeBW
RFK JR: One time, Trump grabbed a placemat, turned it over, took a Sharpie, and drew a perfect map of the Middle East. Then he marked the troop strength of every country along each border on that map..
Good example if why we need a “Joe Rogan of the left,” but why it has to be 100 people, not just one.
And, for that matter, why we need a codified model of masculinity to help others repeat and amplify the good parts of this.
There is no “Joe Rogan of the left”, but Jason and Travis Kelce present a vision of masculinity that we should aspire to platform
The love of family, compassion, and uplifting, not denigrating, the women in their lives
I put up a new case study on my website! It's about how Movement Labs and I moved Independent male voters 30 points(!) toward Kamala Harris in pretesting but didn't find a test design that would replicate it in the field. There's clearly something powerful here.
Honored to have Frame Lab @gilduran76 publish my piece today on how "redpill" masculinity is harming men (not to mention everyone else) and what we can all do about it.
Read to learn:
* Why Extremists Own the Male Guidance Space
* How Redpill 'Strength' Actually Weakens Men
* How We Can Redefine Masculinity Around Service

Case in point for the argument I’ve been making for years that the “liberal Fox News” needs to be neither news, nor explicitly liberal, nor a cable network:
The problem for Dems who want to build their own new media ecosystem is the biggest pods for younger men are explicitly political only some of the time. The guests on these shows are mostly yapping about sports/gaming/comedy, then occasionally dipping into right-leaning politics.
Elon Musk may be a known liar and charlatan, but he is also the current richest person in the world, owns the platform where I’m posting this, and seems to be controlling the man about to be sworn in as president of the United States next week. So we need to talk about him. 1/
Rule #3: don't even make it seem liberal! It should all roll up to liberal ends. But for deep psychological reasons, it will play better if it's dressed up in conservative values like loyalty, authority, sanctity. Talk about "putting X in their place" but X is a liberal bogeyman.
I just published a piece in C&E today laying out three rules for making sure the coming wave of investment in liberal media infrastructure doesn't repeat the mistakes of previous efforts like Air America.

Rule #2: don't feed this news-averse audience news content. People who are looking for political news in the internet era can find it. In this respect, liberals may have gotten misled by the Limbaughs and Foxes of the world. Provide entertainment w/ a little politics on the side
This weekend, POLITICO ran an article with some thoughts I shared on what I really make of Harris' post-election digital fundraising. Spoiler alert: pretty good, actually!

Harris outspent Trump approximately 3-to-1. As neutral news media shrinks to the point of a relevance collapse, we can't just fill the void with advertising. But here's how liberals actually can build our own media ecosystem successfully.

Some executives are already admitting that "mainstream media is dead in its current form." Conservatives will work to fill the void—will liberals? We can succeed where we've failed before, but we need to make one change. I explain in my new piece.
Donald Trump's most important base of support in 2024 wasn't rural whites—it was *people who are wrong*. The neutral media ecosystem is collapsing, and liberals must build our own ASAP.
I just wrote a piece to bring awareness and insight to this subject. Check it out.
