modern musical movies are bad because the filmmakers are embarrassed to be making musicals. musical movies are some of the greatest films of all time but they must be made with a respect for both the mediums of film and musical theater
It’s crazy that we don’t impose harsher punishments on people with license plate covers — they’re saying “the rules don’t apply to me.” Driving is a privilege, not a right, and if you don’t meticulously follow the law, it should be very easy to lose that privilege.
It's not a major issue but I'd like to see Congress take up copyright reform. 95 years is absurd. Anything produced prior to 1960 should be public domain.
