Despite Blake refusing to turn and look at her, Gianna knows. She gently places her hand on her waist and turns her around.

Tears that are rolling down reddened cheeks, are temporarily warming them from the harsh winds. But she canโt (or maybe wonโt) even turn to look at Gianna.
Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, hand drawn back before the blue arrow is sent flying through the air.
She holds her own breath, watching it in almost slow motion until it pierces through the shoe.
