⚡️NATO is convening an emergency meeting after a drone struck a residential high-rise in Romania, Finnish President Alexander Stubb said.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that “Russia’s reckless behavior poses a danger to all of us.”
The U.S. ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, said: “We stand with our NATO ally Romania. The United States will defend every inch of NATO territory.”
This is very symptomatic of our modern way of working, full of “yes” people.
A high-level person drops a shitty idea or ugly concept.
Everyone can see it’s bad, but nobody says anything because the point is not to be right, it’s to keep the right people happy.
Angela Merkel should not be getting an award. Except maybe for the worst European leader of the last twenty years.
Her long list of failures include:
- bowing to the environmentalist mob and ensuring Germany exits from nuclear power
- being the architect of the Minsk process which went nowhere and set the conditions for the current barbaric war against Ukraine
- Refusing Ukraine's admission into NATO
- Making Germany's and Europe's defence more dependent on the United States
- massively damaging Northern Europe's relations with the South during the euro crisis
- building Nord stream 2 AFTER Russia had already annexed Crimea
- Last but not least: Her declaration that any and all refugees would be accepted in Germany, causing millions of people to leave their homes to live in Europe. The consequences of this decision will be felt for generations
It is hard to think of an individual who has done more damage to Europe than Merkel.
Handing her any kind of award will not legitimise her disastrous rule in the eyes of anybody, but it will utterly nullify the legitimacy of the award itself.
