@shashj I've often wondered how this 3x lethality idea would apply in the attack, i.e. when NATO doctrine insists that an attacking force should outnumber the defenders 3 to 1. Would doctrine be rewritten so that British troops can attack a force of their own size?

I got a reply today from Evan Gershkovich in Lefortovo prison via @polinaivanovva and Friends of Evan. It’s dated July 25 and contains his hallmark wit and modesty. It will be 18 weeks tomorrow since his wrongful detention in Russia. He should be back with friends and family.
