I prefer picture in picture for coding. For lectures I like full screen with cuts to other slides as needed.

Without the visual interaction you may as well be listening to a podcast or reading a book.

@jslvtr Back when MSDOS was all the rage I used a monitor that displayed green text instead of the usual white. Much better for the eyes and long hours in front of the PC. Dark mode is the only way to go.
