If Oscar cared as much about fighting for a World Championship as Carlos cared about fighting Alonso he wouldn't have bottled more than a 100 points in 2025 to finish behind Max.
The only effective way to check your blind spot is to look over your shoulder. It’s a blind spot for a fucking reason. None of your mirrors will show it! Unless your car has the blind spot monitor on your side mirror. So how the fuck do you expect an F1 driver to do that? 🤡
people trying to defend sainz by saying it was a blind spot bruh i hope yall don’t have a fucking road license cause even us NORMAL ROAD DRIVERS are always told to check our blind spots
@rooteruditorum@autosport@thejoshrevell ??? The blue flag was shown to Kimi when he was leading at one point. The purpose of the flags in this situation is pointless. The responsibility to move out of the way rests on people who have view of where the cars are on track at all times… the engineers.
AMuS about why Carlos isn't wholly to blame for the collision with Oscar:
"It was a five-second penalty from race officials. At first glance, it looked more than justified. But it's worth a second look." 1/
Like this is all Mercedes and Ferrari world right now and we’re all just casualties in it. I don’t know why y’all think dissing drivers below the Top 10 is a serve
@matchstickstorm@ikeulouvre55 It’s the same complaint aired by Toto about race engineers not walking the drivers through the broken blue flags system more thoroughly.
@matchstickstorm@ikeulouvre55 No shit yeah blue flag for Piastri meant he was the car behind. What you are failing to understand is, in that moment, Carlos was trying to hold his position against the AM. His race engineer fell asleep and failed to tell him that Oscar would likely meet him at the turn.
@forzasainza@c4rlossa1nz55 Also, I check my blind spot by rotating me head and looking over my shoulder. You cannot check a blind spot through your side mirror. It’s a BLIND SPOT for a fucking reason 😩
