The term had become too associated with Bernie and the squad, who are democrats, and since socialism is inherently democratic they felt it was redundant. Makes sense. Definitely not an endorsement if vanguardism or MLM, tho.

@Jesesrox Unfortunately, most of the fire I get comes from other self proclaimed leftists who argue that my Party should ignore its own platform and go support Jill Stein. I was called an “embarrassment” to the Marxist-Leninist movement today.

I’m not even a Marxist-Leninist.
