27 October 1941 | After an escape of a prisoner from Block 18a in Auschwitz I (in the picture) SS men chose 10 prisoners, Poles, to be starved in Block 11 cells.
These were:

Henryk Kozłecki (11278)
Jan Skierniewski (21157)
Władysław Maciąg (20908)
Józef Tomczak (21373)
Stanisław Kocek (21173)
Stefan Kiśniewicz (16189)
Zdzisław Witamborski (13882)
Franciszek Roller (21086)
Paweł Olszówka (21062)
Wacław Kieszkowski (14634)

Six of them died of starvation between 31 October and 10 November. Prisoners: Skierniewski, Tomczak, and Roller were shot on November 11 at the 'Wall of Death'.

Henryk Kozłecki (in the picture) was released from the bunker to the camp on 29 October. This is the only known case of the prisoner being released from the starvation bunker. He was executed by shooting on 14 June 1942.
