It’s National STEM Day! We have absolutely enjoyed having a STEM specials class. Our @townleytorches have had access to so many new opportunities! We love STEM!!! @IISD_iLearn @Enrichment_IISD

We coded loops today and 3rd grade did an amazing job!! We used our new Blueprint Kits to build a tunnel and this group added a swinging gate to theirs. @IISD_iLearn

We loved engaging with our ES STEM and MS VILS @iisdCTE teachers today! We explored high impact 📈 instructional strategies and dug into our curriculum 📖 to find ways to enhance our lessons with them!

Such thoughtful 🤔 conversations and collaborative tips ✏️ were shared!

We had the BEST DAY visiting campuses around the district showcasing @LEGO_Education Sci content!

Sts created baby 🐉 dragons based on parental traits, made kinetic kickers ⚽️ , and designed a cleaning machine 🤖 to pick up our toys!

STEM Quest was a success! Our campers had a great time and were able to learn and show off their coding skills! @IISD_iLearn @Enrichment_IISD

Day 4! We made and coded our own obstacle courses. Campers used tape to measure and label so they could easily insert the measurements into their program. I am so proud of our campers and all of their hard work! @IISD_iLearn @Enrichment_IISD

Day 2! We worked on coding the matrix to loop our designs. We learned about the science behind skate parks and worked to code the BOLT+ to navigate our new Terrain Parks. It definitely took patience but our campers were amazing and kept trying! @IISD_iLearn @Enrichment_IISD

Day 3 we programmed our BOLT+ robots in some fun games. One of our campers received a Ronaldo jersey for his birthday the day before so he was ready for competition!! @IISD_iLearn @Enrichment_IISD

My first group of 5th grade @TownsellElem graduate today! I was so glad I got to see them last week as they walked the halls! I am so proud of all their accomplishments and wish them the best in all their future endeavors ☺️❤️
