@Roger_Negan Probably true but two thoughts: 1. Of all tax dollars collect what percent go to “supporting the community”? Foreign aide? Defense? Etc. were pouring a lot of money into a black hole and that makes people reluctant to give more. 2. Everyone’s definition of “community” differs

@BernieSanders More likely is that you’d collect all the money, fight amongst yourselves as to how it should be spent, then maybe half that goes to where you intend it to. People hate taxes because government can’t figure out how not to waste it.
