Every Ad pauses what you’re listening to (even if the Ad is muted).

IMO the businesses that are unable to adapt to deliver a product consumers find valuable enough to pay for were not built to last anyway.

Besides, this doesn’t stop ads, it limits targeted ads. IMO the abuse and misuse of consumer data collection (cough, cough FB) is more culpable in this shift than AAPL. AAPL just capitalized on the shift.
It’s amazing how quickly business leaders and investors shift from not caring about free cash flow to it being the mosts important thing.
Going to be devastating for some companies, but a healthy wake up call for markets in the long term.
