Congratulations to Mayor-elect @kwilsonformayor! Portland’s future is bright and I am committed to supporting you as you transition into your role leading this incredible organization. Can’t wait to roll up our sleeves together with the newly elected city council.
Great news, baseball fans! The Portland City Council voted unanimously today to support Portland Diamond Project’s effort to bring a Major League Baseball team to Portland! This is a significant sign of progress, and we want to thank Mayor Ted Wheeler and the council for getting behind our vision of making Portland better with baseball. What does the resolution do?
“I am proud to support Portland Diamond Project and leverage the City’s talent and resources in service of making this vision a reality,” said Mayor Ted Wheeler. “The positive impact to our region would be tremendous. Now is the time to dream big for Portland, our region and the state of Oregon.”

Those we are elected to serve deserve a systemic approach to addressing homelessness that works and governments that know how to collaborate. No one who is most vulnerable in this moment wants to, or should need to, track which government provides help for them.
Big day for Keith Wilson.
First, he wins Willamette Week's coveted endorsement for mayor.
Now, a poll commissioned by The Oregonian/OregonLive show Wilson surging and best positioned to win the race next month.

@GoodLuckUNeedIt @BoboLewis13 I was at the same session he hosted the next day and it was very helpful. He has a 20+ page packet on how to do it and all the costs, timelines. Impressive. As a district 2 candidate I look forward to implementing it myself.
Enjoyed attending the deep dive session hosted by Keith Wilson on ending unsheltered homelessness. This is the #1 task all candidates should have for Portland. He has a plan and clear path forward. Like Keith, I am committed to helping our neighbors on the street.
@BoboLewis13 I feel you there. We are all sick of the horrible conditions on the street. I believe Keith is the only one resolute enough to make a difference. It's going to take a lot of determination. I believe we can do it!
@demelo4portland I was thinking maybe we could have an districtwide event at the DMV. @shanedkavanaugh could make up the route for the driving instructor to judge our abilities. 🤣
In case you missed the Portland Candidate Forum on Addiction and Mental Illness. I linked it to my response on the 2nd question for D2.

Not sure why everyone keeps asking how many parking tickets I have had...
Probably 4-5 ish in the past 8 years. 2 in one day. No traffic tickets...Knock on wood. #parkingtickets
"During periods in which her license was suspended, she received a dozen+ parking violations, records show.
"In July 2012 and Dec. 2015, Rubio had her car impounded & was ordered to pay $2,955 & $5,992, respectively, for a combined 42 traffic citations."

Multnomah County paid a consultant $250K to to come up w/ a new "mission statement" for the local gov't.
Reason?
"To help employees feel more connected to their work for the county and as a pivotal step to shape its future plans."
