when did you pick up on the surprise?
now that agents can make their own media - from scripting to editing - creators will become more like new age game devs. sure ai can make content production cheaper and faster, but what happens when agentic shows can react to their audience in near real time? what happens when the comments decide the fate of a character? or when a community of believers can direct a series together? static content will be left behind in favor of living stories.
there's still slop in the margins for now, but we're racing toward that interactive future that merges audience and story in a way that has never been possible before.
- an early Showrunnerโข test
most complicated multi-character one-shot test yet, got the lore and place right, but boy is that a hysterical and bad ending, skipped all feedback steps
-- full prompt was:
"letโs make a video of Agent K entering the lostling swamp searching for GBOY. he finds Magus instead and interrogates him. in the 1990s. noir style, black and white, heavy shadows, cigarette smoke, moody lighting. the film ends with agent k hurrying to get out of the swamp. it should be about a minute. time is flexible."
we created a one-minute lore accurate video with a single slack message from the toilet.
it's not to the quality of our bespoke work yet, but it's changing the way we think about AI content in lore-rich worlds.
