@gildawabbit This is like how I didn't realize Boston was making me feel tense & angry until I came to NYC for the first time and *palpably* relaxed the instant I stepped off the train
Spent so much time promoting #BxOCarmelites on @bronxopera social media that I may have neglected to mention *I'm in the opera too* - come see my last show tomorrow (Sun. 5/14 @ 2:30pm), I get beheaded by angry Frenchmen, it's a hoot. ๐

What a long, strange trip it's been to arrive in this acid trip / Lisa Frank / tie-dye / 90s-stoner-blacklight-poster fantasia for @tracycox ๐จ๐๐โฎ๐ฝโฏ๏ธ๐๐
@gildawabbit This is why I stopped having coachings, cuz every single opera coach I know is a stainless steel cunt. I can't make progress w/o being vulnerable, & I can't be vulnerable around that energy.
@gildawabbit I loved you a decade ago when I first met you (yes that's right, Opera Breve was A DECADE AGO ๐ต) and I love you now and I will fight anyone who threatens harm to you & yours until blood runs in the streets
@renegadecut Body fascism -- antifatness, SWERFs, TERFs, ableism, colorism -- & the way it is *just literal fascism* & often acts as a canary in the coal mine for that, & the desperate need for solidarity between/intersection of those marginalized groups, as we're endangered in similar ways.
@iamsarahlb@UKBloggers1@LovingBlogs@BBlogRT It's not a problem for me, I just figured you'd want to know! Sorry I didn't let you know sooner, I only just noticed that I was being tagged. ๐
The fact that Joan Cusack's villain monologue from the end of Addams Family Values is so beloved while Glenn Close's villain monologue from the end of The Stepford Wives is forgotten is a grave injustice.
