@TEnglishSport This is brilliant writing Tom. 👏👏👏 Lucky enough to have been at grand slams in 1984 & 1990 and 5 Nations win in 1999 but Scotland winning today seemed so remote a possibility. Today probably the most memorable game I’ve been to at Murrayfield. You’ve captured this perfectly.
@CurrysServices Bought an HDMI cable in store 45minutes ago. Got home to find out it was too short. Go back to store to return to be told your policy is no returns for opened goods. I understand that. Don’t appreciate your assistant referring to me as “chum”. Won’t be back.
If I could bring back one feature of golf’s early years, it would be the Challenge Match. Look at the size of the crowd following this 1890 tilt between Andra Kirkaldy and Willie Park Jr. Then imagine the excitement of Rahm meeting Rory in a one-on-one match over 36 holes!

Last March, Bryson was driving it 400 yards over the pond at Bay Hill while Tiger sat in a hospital contemplating amputation.
Now Bryson is grimacing on 16 tee while the 46 year old restauranteur is piping it over 15 green in two.
Hard to describe how unlikely all of this is.
If you're planning a 🏴 golf trip then this driving time guide from my Golf Course Map of Scotland may be helpful.
You can buy the map from your local bookshop (well, some of them!), Amazon or directly from me here -
