When a popular podcaster with a very unique gift for gab manages to inspire his minions to cause a great deal of ruckus in Bay City only one person can stand in their way! But is it all just part of a bigger master plan?

@ATLSportsZone I don't follow other teams as closely as I do the Hawks- do all the other teams get attached to as many batsh!t crazy trade ideas as the Hawks seem to be on a regular basis?
@8ohns@DerekBodnerNBA Technically they were in the traditional sense (tear the roster down to get as bad as possible and rebuild) but the crap teams are pulling now sitting and manipulating playing time with healthy players to throw games (let's call it what it is) has really skewed the definition.
@DerekBodnerNBA There's literally nothing OKC did that teams can't do now with the new lottery reform- they swung a huge deal trading away their star tearing the team down completely and letting a young core grow and develop together. They didn't sit a healthy Paul George, they traded him.
A Democrat running for office must provide detailed plans on how to fix every issue while a Republican running for office just need to come up with a nickname for their opponent.
@steakshapiro Pretty sure the idea of the Hawks drafting Castle is revisionist history- it was Risacher, Sarr and maybe reaching for one of the college bigs- Castle, or any other guard, was never in the mix
There are Democrats who worry AOC can’t be elected president because she’s a Latina woman. Or Pete Buttigieg because he’s gay.
This is a helpful reminder that Republicans will go completely apeshit if you nominate a straight cis decent white guy too.
I know what this is really about but humor me- how many significant others of Senators or Representatives do we know really know or even care about? Is there like a website or something to keep track on them?
Again, I know what is really going here, I'm just saying.
Watters: Talarico is also 37 and not married. He says he has a girlfriend. He called her his best friend. He’s not revealing her identity because he wants to protect her privacy. Why haven’t we ever seen her before? Does she exist? If he wins, are they going to have a coming out party? Is she also vegan?
@MikeConti929 I think it would be closer to Charlotte in stature but I definitely get what you are saying- while he was not directly responsible for all of the factors in Atlanta's rise, he was responsible for the momentum at its worst remaining steady and at it's best accelerating greatly
@UsherNBA Even if a bunch of tall corners or wideouts could consistently play lockdown defense on a guard, no NBA team is going to bother keeping them around unless there's a solid chance they can knock down a jumper or beat a defender one on one if/when needed.
@UsherNBA He keeps talking about football players being able to be strictly defensive guys as if the defensive guys in the NBA don't have to have strong all around skilled games that are so beyond random dudes who never played past college just to make it as defensive specialists.
@ZaidJilani Georgia's Republican governors have all governed much more moderately than they have campaigned, largely, I think, due to their understanding that they need to work with metro Atlanta in order to actually run the state properly.
@Retrievals1@ZaidJilani He was not a never-Trumper, he was a big Trump supporter and only got the nomination in his first run due to Trump endorsing him over the front-runner at the time then-Lt Gov Casey Cagle. Kemp and Trump only fell out after Kemp refused to help Trump steal the 2020 election.
@GfedGoCrazy I mean, the Cavs are there presumably for one all time great player- Lebron-being there so by **that** logic the Royals could/should be there for Oscar Robertson.
@FastbreakHoops5 All but one trade on this list aside from the Luka-Trae deal either directly led to the other team gaining the core nucleus of at least one future title win- the one saw the nucleus of a potential title winner broken up leading to a rebuild that itself led to a potential dynasty
@YuriyATL All but one trade on this list aside from the Luka-Trae deal either directly led to the other team gaining the core nucleus of at least one future title win- the one saw the nucleus of a potential title winner broken up leading to a rebuild that itself led to a potential dynasty
@YuriyATL I could maybe understand calling it a bad trade now considering the Hawks eventually got rid of Trae... except they did so almost a full year after the Mavs traded away Luka. Even if you absolutely don't want to call it a win-win trade for both teams, it was not a terrible loss.
