@ELPinchbeck I did a planning application for mine for the same reason. It was just the cost of the application, not £2k. Stupid, but straightforward. We saved £1k in energy costs in the first year, before Ukraine, and are gas free. So don’t let that hurdle stop you.

@Frank_Reif_ @LowCarbonHub We haven't done this (yet?). It was a bit of a slippery slope dealing with the floor as I wanted to do UFH as well and the costs began to snowball. It's on the wish list
