Customer care representative is saying that if bank is busy then visit SBI customer care mini branch but mini branch guys are saying that only bank offials can update mobile no.

To activate New Debit card my mother requested to update her new mobile number but it's been more than a week and no action. Bak officials told her to wait for another week because the the guy who update number is on leave. Why someone else from the bank can do that work ?
