@GWRHelp The overhead wires are also damaged between Twyford and Maidenhead London bound. We’ve been stuck here for about 20 mins. I’d advise people of that issue too, team.
@thameswater good evening. Was just wondering what the update is for RG14 please? We have had no pressure since midday and can’t see anything on your interactive map to say it’s even been reported? Thanks
@BGCollector@GWRHelp How often do you go in BGC? The service has been absolutely dreadful the last few weeks. The 0618 from NBY has been late every single day. Tonight wasn’t any better as the 1707 was cancelled!
@GWRHelp Niamh, I don’t think this would have impacted the 0618 train leaving Bedwyn late (which is 50 miles away from Maidenhead and in the opposite direction, and on a completely different part of the line). But thanks anyway.
@GWRHelp Thanks Niamh. The Delay Repay is helpful, but what I’d like to know is why this train is constantly late, every single day. There is clearly an issue. Would appreciate an update once you have further clarity on today. As no one on board has bothered to apologise.
@GWRHelp Morning @GWRHelp. And what was the reason for the 0618 from Newbury being 22 mins late this morning? The train now stands at 6% punctuality. Wouldn’t call this acceptable for paying commuters, would you?
@GWRHelp That’s between Reading and Maidenhead on the other line Michaela, according to other GWR information. I was stuck at Reading and then between Reading and Newbury, heading the other way. What was the actual reason please?
@GWRHelp Doors opened at 0719 Brad, 10 mins late. The issue should be investigated for every single day, not just today. To br honest Brad, this kind of response is infuriating as I know nothing will be done.
Classic @GWR. Train running 15 mins late, not one word of an apology. But let’s have people checking your ticket twice just to rub it in that you’re paying through the nose for a continually dreadful service
@GWRHelp Thanks Brad. And what about the previous 7 working days where it has been constantly late. Could you advise on those too please? It is every day, so would suggest it’s not just a problem today, more like fundamental issues with a poorly thought out timetable.
@GWRHelp the 0618 NBY to PAD is constantly late (7-10 mins). Every single day. It is always 2-3 mins late leaving and gets later as the journey goes on. It’s infuriating and shows poor timetable planning and general customer contempt. Plus it’s not electric, always diesel.
@GWRHelp Hi @GWRHelp again please advise what is the problem with the 0618 off NBY? It has arrived 7 mins late every day this week and is currently 7 mins behind schedule again (and we’re only at Reading). How about you revisit the timetable for this service. It clearly doesn’t work.
@GWRHelp Thanks Bradley. I’m not sure it merits a formal complaint but it’s not just today. It’s every single day. Again, today - forecast to arrive at 0715. No reason why. But clearly this train can’t run on time, so timetable needs amending to reflect that
@GWRHelp hi there crew. Appreciate the problems at Paddington aren’t you fault, but any idea when the 1804 to Newbury is likely to depart? Still showing as ‘delayed’ on the board…thanks.
@GWRHelp Travelling on the 0618 from Newbury. Was intending to use the 0552, but like yesterday it was cancelled. The train I’m on travelled at snails pace all the way to Thatcham, meaning we’re arriving into Paddington 10 mins late - as per normal.
Morning @GWRHelp what is going on with Newbury at the moment? Everything bar 0618 cancelled (again), and now this one is crawling and 10 minutes late and no one is saying anything on board. GWR pre-pandemic service in action I see.
@GWRHelp Thanks Brad, and the 0618 is now crawling into London. Not a good morning. Is there some signalling issue? Usual silence from the on train crew.
@GWRHelp could you please advise why the 0552 from Newbury was cancelled today please? I got up early to get into the office only to be thwarted. Thanks
