@SenSanders Wouldn’t everybody be better off if Congo, and the other African countries, took care of themselves? We are fostering dependency with taxpayer dollars to the benefit of liberal NGO’s.
@Elodieurgf@ABC Also, the best canned tomatoes can get you through the winter.
For sauces and soups, or anytime. Buy San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy. They will make a good Caprese.
@Elodieurgf@ABC Not at all. In peak season, the many farm markets and roadside stands have bushels of the best to sell. The off-season tomatoes are better than ever with hydroponically grown cherry (or grape) tomatoes or “on the vine” varieties that rival suumer’s best-
for sweetness
@ABC We get a great many things from Mexico, but summer tomatoes come from local family farms in the US. They don’t sell them to the big supermarkets, but directly to the public at weekly farm markets, a growing trend; every town has one. Price? There’s someone lower on the next aisle
@ashishkjha None of this makes sense. High minded drs will go to Africa to treat Ebola cases but won’t quarantine there before coming home?
Americans exposed to Ebola won’t tell anyone and risk death?
@JReputables@Rothmus Who’s greedy? The capitalist who makes money by providing goods and services through voluntary transactions or the socialist who forces others to provide for his well-being by police power?
@JeromeAdamsMD Meanwhile, citizens of Congo burned a newly built isolation ward for Ebola victims because the doctors wouldn’t release an Ebola infected body. It was built by an international aid organization. One patient died.
@0Calamity@C_3C_3 We know, but we think differently in the States. We don’t blindly trust authority. We’ve experienced acts of police brutality and cover up. But you’re okay with that so, have a nice day.
@bea_johanssen@C_3C_3 You don’t have the right to comment on what you see, hear, or read in the news. You’re going backwards. You should not be okay with that.
