I can understand the UK's various nations having their own teams for the World Cup. But what really gets me is that there's absolutely zero rhyme or reason to what happens for any particular sport:
@AtBroskiShow As long as he's not in a team demanding high, intense pressing, he'll do well.
Despite a decent goal return, he's not really done enough @BCFC in a very physical league.
I've rarely seen a piece of technology "click" with people like eve.
It went through a months long dogfooding and private beta phase and the agents that our customers shipped in minimal time were absolutely incredible.
But then, immediately production ready with evals, observability, and rock-solid SDLC
@blues_breakdown A 6 who can evade a press and carry the ball up the pitch is better than one who can’t!
Paik/Solís/Iwata + 1 more. It’ll be interesting to see what profile of player they go for. Similar to Solís in terms of physicality hopefully.
@jordanbhx I love the ambition, but the Olympics obviously needs a stadium with a running track, which is the antithesis of the Powerhouse's close, steep design.
Perhaps Alexander Stadium can be expanded or temporary seating could increase capacity to 50k?
@_ScottJ@BhamSportsQuart A track requires a whole load more space - see the issue West Ham have with the London stadium!
Track & field is unequivocally the main event of the Olympics, hence further Alex expansion probably being the main blocker.
I have spent the grand total of 2½ weeks in 🏴 Scotland in my entire life, but I've been going around Birmingham for the past week randomly singing "Kenny McLean from 50 yards" & "Scott McTominay Ballon D'Or".
Get your catchy shit out of my English head @jj_bull. It's too good.
