For millions of years, up until 150 years ago, we only saw two lights. Sun and fire.
We have strayed far from those colors. It would be surprising if there were no consequences.
Everything feminists say about middle class white boys being lecherous, perverted, sex-pest rapists is true in spades about the third world imports they champion & yet it doesn’t stop them from doing so. Another data point proving they don’t even have courage of thier convictions
agree: women cannot consent to sex after having had any alcohol at all.
to ensure this is properly enforced, we'll need women-only dorms with strict curfews and oversight by chaperones until they are married and oversight of their decision-making can be safely handed off to their husbands.
I am increasingly getting the impression that progressives just straight up don't support the idea of balanced laws and impartial justice at all and want to use the justice system as a partisan agent on behalf of certain groups of people who they empathize with.
fascinating how modern discourse is centered around whatever psychosis women are wrapped up in that week. pitbullmama78 just dropped a new video so now every woman in your life is 300 tiktoks down a rabbit hole you’re gonna spend 3 hours trying to pull them out of, good luck
NOT THE BEE: Cornell student and her mom showed up on 'CBS Mornings' to discuss the #Cornell7 rape case annnnnd the student wore a keffiyeh, presumably in support of Gaza.
You know you did a lot of raping on October 7, 2023? Gazans
I see women asking "WHY AREN'T MEN DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THE CORNELL 7!"
But aside from the fact that regret ≠ assault
Anytime there is a male-dominated attempt to increase safety (tough on crime, border security, deportations, Daniel Penny) these same women protest to stop it
The way people talk about the Cornell 7 case, you'd think a girl was passed out on a couch and seven random dudes took turns raping her while she was incapacitated. Then you read what happened, and it was actually a slutty slutastic slut fest with questions about which parts were consensual, which weren't, and when consent may have ended. I don't understand how anyone who wasn't there can be 100% certain about it.
I do think it’s darkly funny that so many of the people who have spent the last week hyperventilating about the situation in Cornell apparently never even read the lawsuit in the first place so keep getting all the details wrong
Women’s worldview is premised on a utopian ideal — how the world should work, “how things ought to be” — which is also why they’re naturally left leaning. What really offends them at the end of the day is having to accept how the world really works. Camille Paglia gives the classic example of a girl going to a frat party and a boy asking her to go up to his room. If you accept, you’re consenting to sex. This is totally obvious if implied, but it infuriates feminists to no end. Affirmative consent in the form of a verbal agreement is the libtard ideal but it makes sex unsexy and not worth it and everyone knows this.
There's a range of human activity that falls in the
"you should not behave this way and people should criticize you and think less of you if you do but it also wouldn't make sense to make it illegal" bucket and I fear we're losing sight of the whole concept of honor and ethics.
All of our sexual norms are totally fucked. We had this solved. Courtship, marriage, a father or a brother taking care of business if need be. Then we gave it all up.
Isn't it interesting? Perhaps the irony is that sexual monogamy was supposed to be one of the constraints from which modernity would liberate us, yet it increasingly looks less like an arbitrary religious prohibition & more like a remarkably sophisticated piece of civilisational wisdom.
The sexual revolution promised freedom through the dismantling of boundaries, but many of the resulting problems, fractured families, commodified intimacy, loneliness, pornography, collapsing fertility and profound confusion about the meaning of sex itself, raise an awkward question: what if those boundaries were not designed to frustrate human flourishing, but to protect it? Christian sexual ethics begins to look very different when the alternatives are subjected to their own stress tests.
