“I just want to congratulate the England fans who attended the match. I can say that more than 95% of the England fans showed great behavior — very respectful when winning, and even more respectful when losing. I saw many of them congratulating Argentinians after the match.

I’m sure this is not a coincidence. It reflects a culture of respect and civility that is clearly lived in your country, and honestly, it’s something we Latin people can learn from.

I’ve only been to England once, and it is a beautiful country. I hope to visit many more times.

I believe we now have evidence of FIFA's World Cup ticketing shell game: FIFA is colluding with third-party resale platforms for its own supply management.

Look at this SeatGeek map (secondary market!) for Saudi Arabia vs Cape Verde. The circled areas are not random single resale tickets, but large, contiguous blocks of seats: entire rows and swaths in sections 101/102, 112/113, 119/120, 134–137, 139, ...

The blue circles appeared weeks ago, then the purple blocks suddenly showed up a day or two ago, and the red blocks seem to have appeared recently too.

That's not what ordinary fan or even commercial scalper resale looks like who resell pairs, fours, and scattered seats. Instead, this looks like inventory being dumped in bulk onto secondary markets, at prices below FIFA's official site.

Why doesn't FIFA just lower prices on its own site Probably because official price cuts could trigger refund demands, chargebacks, or consumer-protection headaches from fans who already bought at much higher prices.

Instead FIFA keeps official prices high, avoids openly admitting the market-clearing price is lower, and moves unsold inventory through third-party resale platforms instead.

Not surprised that people are immediately trying to write revisionist history about the game today. That’s what idiots do

-Arsenal scored from open play. PSG could not

-PSG needed a penalty, conceded by Arsenal’s 3rd string RB, to score at all

-Outside of that penalty, PSG did not record a shot on target inside the box until the 117th minute

-PSG needed a penalty shootout to win the game

Casual fans will look at the possession and the shots, without understanding that Arsenal allowed PSG to have the ball and shoot it from non-threatening areas on purpose

At the end of the day, PSG deserved to win, because they stepped up when it mattered

But anybody suggesting that Arsenal didn’t play well, or didn’t execute their plan to perfection, is either lying to you for interactions, or they are genuinely incapable of analyzing the game that they just watched

It really is that simple, at the end of the day
