@Scott_Helme @troyhunt That depends. There are requirements about the contents and the VAT calculation needs to be correct. Even for foreign companies. That is not a given with cloud services. Stripe might well do it correctly. I was just commenting on the principle of needing the document.

@troyhunt We always provide invoice references in outgoing wire transfers. There is even an ISO standard for it: ISO 11649:2009. We use it when invoicing customers. We also notice that any form of reference disappears sometimes for international transactions. Costs loads of time…. (2/2)

@troyhunt The company I work for also would need an invoice. Not because of some internal rule or approval process. But simply because the accounting and VAT legislation in our country make it mandatory. But we would be happy to pay by credit card. (1/2)

@Ginger_Trekkie I think the design of the D is indeed pretty impressive and hard to improve upon. But (probably unpopular opinion), after rewatching Voyager before revisiting TNG… I kind of like Voyager more than Enterprise D. Voyager seems more logical and streamlined for some reason.

When playing Running Up That Hill by @KateBushMusic on @AppleMusic I get the cover by @PLACEBOWORLD. Album art and references are correct, but the music does not match. Anyone else having this issue? Or is this intentional? :)

@DavidZipper @AdamPosen And having been to USA/Canada I know that trucks are sometimes a necessity for certain occupations. But as described above you can take that into account in sensible legislation.
